The newest member of Team JLab is MLS's Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Kendall Waston! Captain of the team, a strong center back with skills that dominate, and a winning smile, he's always ready to GO on and off the field.
A Costa Rican native, Waston finished his last game playing in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia today with an incredible header goal, off of a corner kick, to tie up the game. This was the first goal scored by Costa Rica in the tournament and a very impressive one, check it out below.
While we're bummed Costa Rica did not move on to the next round, we are proud of Kendall's performance and attitude throughout the tournament.
(English Translation: 🙏Everything comes to the one who knows how to wait. Infinite thanks to God for the opportunity to play in a world cup and debut with a goal, a goal that I shouted with soul, life and heart, thanks to my family that has always been with me; to my wife, my son and thank you for the support of all who never doubted.)
